DOMESTIC ANIMALS AMENDMENT (PUPPY FARMS AND PET SHOPS) REGULATIONS 2018 (SR NO 35 OF 2018) - REG 8

For regulations 50 and 51 of the Principal Regulations substitute —

        "     50     Infringement penalties for offences against the Act

For the purposes of section 88 of the Act, the infringement penalty for an offence against a section of the Act specified in Column 2 of Table 1 in Schedule 5 is the amount specified in Column 3 of that table opposite that section.

        51     Infringement penalties for offences against the Regulations

    (1)     The regulations specified in Column 2 of Table 2 in Schedule 5 are prescribed for the purposes of Part 7B of the Act.

    (2)     For the purposes of section 88 of the Act, the infringement penalty for an offence against the regulations specified in Column 2 of Table 2 in Schedule 5 is the amount specified in Column 3 of that table opposite that regulation.".
