DRUGS, POISONS AND CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES AMENDMENT (IMAGE-BASED PRESCRIBING) REGULATIONS 2023 (SR NO 20 OF 2023) - REG 12

    (1)     For regulation 52(1) of the Principal Regulations substitute —

    "(1)     This regulation applies in relation to a pharmacist selling or supplying a Schedule 9 poison on a prescription that is—

        (a)     an original prescription; or

        (b)     a copy of an original prescription, including a digital image of an original prescription.".

    (2)     At the foot of regulation 52(2) of the Principal Regulations insert —

    "Penalty:         100 penalty units.".

    (3)     At the foot of regulation 52(3) of the Principal Regulations insert —

    "Penalty:     50 penalty units.".

    (4)     At the foot of regulation 52(4) of the Principal Regulations insert —

    "Penalty:         100 penalty units.".

    (5)     At the foot of regulation 52(5) of the Principal Regulations insert —

    "Penalty:     100 penalty units.".
