GAMBLING REGULATION AMENDMENT (ADVERTISING) REGULATIONS 2009 (SR NO 167 OF 2009) - REG 5

After Part 3 of the Principal Regulations insert —

" PART 3A—GAMING MACHINE ADVERTISING

        43A     Exception to gaming machine advertising prohibitions—venue operators

    (1)     For the purposes of section 3.5.34AA(6)(c) of the Act, a term set out in Schedule 2A is a prescribed term in relation to section 3.5.34AA(1).

    (2)     Subregulation (1) expires on 15 August 2012.

        43B     Exceptions to gaming machine advertising prohibitions—casino operators

    (1)     For the purposes of section 3.5.34AA(6)(c) of the Act, a term set out in Schedule 2B is a prescribed term in relation to section 3.5.34AA(2).

    (2)     For the purposes of section 3.5.34AA(6)(c) of the Act, a symbol, or a symbol that is similar to or a reasonable likeness to a symbol, set out in Schedule 2C is a prescribed symbol in relation to section 3.5.34AA(2).
