PARLIAMENTARY COMMITTEES (ALLOWANCES) REGULATIONS 2005 (SR NO 25 OF 2005) - REG 6

    For regulation 6 of the Parliamentary Committees Regulations 2003 substitute —

        "6.     Committee travelling allowances

    (1)     The committee travelling allowance payable to a member of a committee for attendance at a meeting of the committee outside the member's electorate or away from the member's home base is the rate under sub-regulation (2) for each day the member attends a meeting of a committee.

    (2)     The rate of allowance under sub-
regulation (1) is the amount equal to 19·48% of one three hundred and sixty fifth of the basic salary payable to a member of the Parliament under section 6(1)(a) of the Parliamentary Salaries and Superannuation Act 1968 .".
