PAROLE ORDERS (TRANSFER) REGULATIONS 2004 (SR NO 75 OF 2004) - REG 4

r. 4

For the purposes of section 9 of the Parole Orders (Transfer) Act 1983 —

        (a)     the Supreme Court of Victoria is the corresponding court to the Supreme Court of any State or Territory which has passed a law declared to be a corresponding law under section 3 of the Parole Orders (Transfer) Act 1983 ;

        (b)     the County Court of Victoria is the corresponding Court to the District Court, County Court, or other Court having intermediate jurisdiction between a Supreme Court and a court of summary jurisdiction, of any State or Territory which has passed a law declared to be a corresponding law under section 3 of the Parole Orders (Transfer) Act 1983 ;

        (c)     the Magistrates' Court of Victoria is the corresponding court to a court of summary jurisdiction in any State or Territory which has passed a law declared to be a corresponding law under section 3 of the Parole Orders (Transfer) Act 1983 .
