ROAD SAFETY (DRIVERS), (GENERAL) AND (VEHICLES) INTERIM AMENDMENT REGULATIONS 2020 (SR NO 105 OF 2020) - REG 53

    (1)     In regulation 152(1) of the Road Safety (Vehicles) Interim Regulations 2020—

        (a)     omit "financial" (where first occurring);

        (b)         for paragraph (b) substitute —

    "(b)     a written statement by an office bearer of the approved club     that the applicant is a member of the approved club; and

        (ba)                 a completed vehicle eligibility and standards declaration for club permit vehicles in the approved form; and";

        (c)     in paragraph (e), for "administrative fee" substitute "relevant fee";

        (d)     after paragraph (e) insert —

    "(ea)     either—

              (i)     the relevant fee specified in Schedule 5 for the issue of a standard club permit number plate; or

              (ii)     the fee fixed by the Secretary under section 5AE of the Act for a slimline club permit number plate;";

        (e)     in paragraph (f)—

              (i)     in subparagraph (i), for "name, residential address and date of birth" substitute "personal particulars or corporation particulars";

              (ii)     for subparagraph (ii) substitute —

    "(ii)     the vehicle particulars;";

              (iii)     subparagraph (iv) is revoked ;

              (iv)     in subparagraph (vi), for "by the Secretary" substitute "in the approved form".

    (2)     After regulation 152(1) of the Road Safety (Vehicles) Interim Regulations 2020 insert —

    "(1A)     The holder of a 45 day club permit may request a second 45 day club permit for an eligible vehicle during a permit period.".

    (3)     In regulation 152(2)(d) of the Road Safety (Vehicles) Interim Regulations 2020 omit "financial".
