ROAD SAFETY (DRIVERS), (GENERAL) AND (VEHICLES) INTERIM AMENDMENT REGULATIONS 2020 (SR NO 105 OF 2020) - REG 60

    (1)     In regulation 161(2) of the Road Safety (Vehicles) Interim Regulations 2020, for "the first issue of a club permit to a permit holder in respect of an eligible vehicle" substitute "payment of the relevant fee specified in Schedule 5 for a standard club permit number plate".

    (2)     For regulation 161(4) of the Road Safety (Vehicles) Interim Regulations 2020 substitute —

    "(4)     An applicant under subregulation (3) must pay—

        (a)     the relevant fee specified in Schedule 5 for the issue of a standard club permit number plate; or

        (b)     the fee fixed by the Secretary     under section 5AE of the Act.".

    (3)     In regulation 161(7) of the Road Safety (Vehicles) Interim Regulations 2020, for "a replacement club permit number plate or a replacement slimline club permit number plate" substitute "the issue of new standard club permit number plates or new slimline club permit number plates".

    (4)     Regulation 161(8) of the Road Safety (Vehicles) Interim Regulations 2020 is revoked .
