ROAD SAFETY (DRIVERS), (GENERAL) AND (VEHICLES) INTERIM AMENDMENT REGULATIONS 2020 (SR NO 105 OF 2020) - REG 71

First and second examination and test

    (1)     In regulation 213(1) and (2) of the Road Safety (Vehicles) Interim Regulations 2020, for "a person employed or authorised by the licensed tester" substitute "an examining mechanic".

    (2)     In regulation 213(3) of the Road Safety (Vehicles) Interim Regulations 2020—

        (a)     for "a person authorised by the licensed tester" substitute "an examining mechanic";

        (b)     in paragraph (b), for "7" substitute "14".

    (3)     In regulation 213(5) and (6) of the Road Safety (Vehicles) Interim Regulations 2020, for "a person employed or authorised by the licensed tester" substitute "an examining mechanic".

    (4)     In regulation 213(8) of the Road Safety (Vehicles) Interim Regulations 2020, for "7" substitute "14".
