ROAD SAFETY (DRIVERS), (GENERAL) AND (VEHICLES) INTERIM AMENDMENT REGULATIONS 2020 (SR NO 105 OF 2020) - REG 77

Clearance of vehicle defect notices

    (1)                 For regulation 235(2) of the Road Safety (Vehicles) Interim Regulations 2020 substitute —

    "(2)     A vehicle defect notice may be cleared by—

        (a)     the Secretary; or

        (b)     a corresponding registration authority; or

        (c)     a licensed tester; or

        (d)     an authorised officer; or

        (e)         an authorised person.".

    (2)         In regulation 235(4)(a) and (b) of the Road Safety (Vehicles) Interim Regulations 2020, for "Secretary or     a corresponding registration authority" substitute "Secretary, corresponding registration authority, licensed tester, authorised officer or authorised person".
