ROAD SAFETY (DRIVERS), (GENERAL) AND (VEHICLES) INTERIM AMENDMENT REGULATIONS 2020 (SR NO 105 OF 2020) - REG 79

Load restraint requirement

    (1)     In regulation 243(1) of the Road Safety (Vehicles) Interim Regulations 2020—

        (a)     in paragraph (c), for "unstable." substitute "unstable; and";

        (b)         after paragraph (c) insert —

    "(d)     the load must be placed and secured on the vehicle in compliance with the performance standards set out in the Load Restraint Guide for Light Vehicles 2018, published by the National Transport Commission.".

    (2)     Regulation 243(2) of the Road Safety (Vehicles) Interim Regulations 2020 is revoked .
