ROAD SAFETY (TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT) REGULATIONS 2019 (SR NO 93 OF 2019) - REG 22

Advertising on certain traffic control devices

    (1)     With the authorisation of VicRoads, a person may erect, display or place a traffic control device that bears an advertisement for a freeway service centre on a road or road related area forming part of a freeway.

    (2)     With the authorisation of VicRoads, a person may place an advertisement for a freeway service centre on a traffic control device on a road or road related area forming part of a freeway.

Note

Placing an advertisement on or over a road without authorisation or permission is an offence—see section 66 of the Road Management Act 2004 .
