ROAD SAFETY (GENERAL) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS 2004 (SR NO 132 OF 2004) - REG 6

    (1)     For regulation 313(1)(c)(ii) and (iii) of the Principal Regulations substitute —

    "(ii)     if the printed image is relevant to an offence of exceeding a speed limit, the speed limit at the time and place at which the vehicle was driven and the speed at which the vehicle was driven; and

              (iii)     if the printed image is relevant to an offence of disobeying a traffic control signal, the length of time for which that traffic control signal had been red.".

    (2)     For regulation 313(2)(b)(ii) and (iii) of the Principal Regulations substitute —

    "(ii)     if the digital file is relevant to an offence of exceeding a speed limit—

    (A)     the speed limit at the time and place at which the vehicle was driven; and

    (B)     the speed at which the vehicle to which the image relates was driven, as transmitted to the control unit from the speed calculation unit; and

              (iii)     if the digital file is relevant to an offence of disobeying a traffic control signal, the length of time for which that traffic control signal had been red; and".
