ROAD SAFETY (ROAD RULES) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS 2008 (SR NO 78 OF 2008) - REG 4

    (1)     Insert the following heading to regulation 305 of the Road Safety (Road Rules) Regulations 1999—

" Power of other corporations to erect traffic control items ".

    (2)     After regulation 305(2) of the Road Safety (Road Rules) Regulations 1999 insert —

    "(3)     The Freeway Corporation may, on EastLink, erect, establish, display, maintain or remove—

        (a)     with the written consent of the Corporation (and subject to compliance with any conditions imposed by it in giving its consent), a major traffic control item; or

        (b)         a minor traffic control item.".
