ROAD SAFETY ROAD RULES AMENDMENT (MOBILE PHONES AND OTHER DEVICES) RULES 2013 (SR NO 134 OF 2013) - REG 1

The objective of these Rules is to amend the Road Safety Road Rules 2009—

        (a)     to clarify when a vehicle is parked for the purposes of rules regarding use of television receivers, visual display units and mobile phones; and

        (b)     to prohibit all probationary driver licence holders from using a mobile phone (including a hands-free device) while driving.
