ROAD SAFETY ROAD RULES AMENDMENT RULES 2020 (SR NO 121 OF 2020) - REG 5

Division does not apply to entering or leaving a roundabout or lane filtering

    (1)     In the heading to rule 44 of the Principal Rules, after " lane filtering " insert " or repositioning ".

    (2)     In rule 44(b) of the Principal Rules, for "rule 151B." substitute "rule 151B; or".

    (3)     After rule 44(b) of the Principal Rules insert —

    "(c)     the rider of a motor bike while repositioning the motor bike within the same lane in order to avoid a hazard or reduce the risk of a crash.".
