ROAD SAFETY ROAD RULES (ENFORCEMENT VEHICLES AND ESCORT VEHICLES) AMENDMENT RULES 2010 (SR NO 7 OF 2010) - REG 12

r. 12

    (1)     For the heading to rule 307 of the Principal Rules substitute —

" Stopping and parking exemption for     police vehicles, emergency vehicles,     enforcement vehicles, escort     vehicles     and authorised persons ".

    (2)     In rule 307(1) of the Principal Rules—

        (a)         for "police vehicle or emergency vehicle" substitute "police vehicle, emergency vehicle, enforcement vehicle or escort vehicle"; and

        (b)         in note 1 at the foot of the rule, after " Emergency vehicle"", insert ", "enforcement vehicle , escort vehicle ".
