TOBACCO (VICTORIAN HEALTH PROMOTION FOUNDATION) REGULATIONS 2011 (SR NO 47 OF 2011) - REG 5

    (1)     Under section 21(3)(a) of the Tobacco Act 1987 , the following persons are appointed as members of the Victorian Health Promotion Foundation—

        (a)     for the purposes of section 21(1)(a) of the Act—

              (i)     Professor John Catford; and

              (ii)     Professor Michael Morgan; and

              (iii)     Professor Margaret Hamilton, a person chosen by the Minister from a panel of three names submitted by the Anti-Cancer Council; and

        (b)     for the purposes of section 21(1)(b) of the Act—

              (i)     Ms Susan Crow; and

              (ii)     Ms Nicole Livingstone; and

              (iii)     Ms Margot Foster, a person chosen by the Minister from a panel of three names submitted by the Sports Federation of Victoria; and

              (iv)     Ms Belinda Duarte, a person nominated by the Minister as representing country sport; and

        (c)     for the purposes of section 21(1)(c) of the Act—

              (i)     Mr Mark Birrell; and

              (ii)     Mr Peter Gordon; and

        (d)     for the purposes of section 21(1)(d) of the Act, Professor Ruth Rentschler; and

        (e)     for the purposes of section 21(1)(e) of the Act, Ms Jane Fenton.

    (2)     The appointment under subregulation (1)(e) is for the period ending 30 June 2012.

    (3)     The appointments under subregulation (1)(a)(ii) and (iii), (1)(b)(i), (ii) and (iv) and (1)(d) are for the period ending 30 June 2014.

    (4)     The appointments under subregulation (1)(a)(i), (1)(b)(iii) and (1)(c) are for the period ending 30 June 2016.
