TRANSPORT (INFRINGEMENTS) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS 2004 (SR NO 28 OF 2004) - REG 8

    After regulation 209 of the Principal Regulations insert —

        "210.     Administrative costs payable in respect of certain ticket infringements

For the purposes of section 213A of the Transport Act 1983 —

        (a)     administrative costs may be paid to a passenger transport or bus company in respect of ticket infringements referred to in that section;    

        (b)     the administrative costs permitted to be paid to a passenger transport or bus company are $20 for each infringement notice issued for a ticket infringement referred to in that section that relates to a carriage operated by or on behalf of the company or land or premises owned, occupied or controlled by the company.".
