Victorian Numbered Regulations Victorian Numbered Regulations(1) For the purposes of the definition of transport safety infringement in section 3 of the Act, an offence set out in Column 2 of the Table in Schedule 2 is prescribed as a transport safety infringement.
(2) For the purposes of section 93(4) of the Act, the amount prescribed for a transport safety infringement penalty is the amount set out in Column 4 of the Table in Schedule 2 that corresponds to the prescribed offence set out in Column 2 of that Table.
(3) A description of an offence set out in Column 3 of the Table in Schedule 2 that corresponds to an offence set out in Column 2 of that Table—
(a) is for convenience of reference only; and
(b) does not affect the nature or the elements of the offence to which the description refers or the operation of these Regulations.

Column 5 of the Table in Schedule 2 contains codes by which infringement offences may be identified.
