TRANSPORT (PASSENGER VEHICLES) REGULATIONS 2005 (SR NO 66 OF 2005) - REG 32

Destination sign and route number to be displayed

r. 32

    (1)     The owner of a public commercial passenger vehicle must ensure that—

        (a)     a destination sign is displayed on the front of the vehicle when it is operating on any route specified in the licence for the vehicle; and

        (b)     if required by the licence, a route number is displayed on the vehicle.

Penalty:     5 penalty units.

    (2)     This regulation does not apply if the vehicle is being used to carry school children and teachers or supervisors and no other adult passengers.
