TRANSPORT (PASSENGER VEHICLES) REGULATIONS 2005 (SR NO 66 OF 2005) - REG 47

r. 47

    (1)     The following persons may request a passenger who has not paid a fare in accordance with regulation 44 to leave a vehicle—

        (a)     the driver of a public commercial passenger vehicle;

        (b)     the driver of a public passenger vehicle operated for the purpose of a regular passenger service;

        (c)     a person authorised by the Secretary.

    (2)     A person must comply with a request made under sub-regulation (1).

Penalty:     10 penalty units.
