Erection of notices

19. Erection of notices



(1) The Secretary or any person authorized by him may cause to be erected at
suitable places within or on the boundaries of or near an archaeological area
or a temporary archaeological area notices indicating that the land is an
archaeological area.

(2) The fact that a notice is not erected at any place pursuant to the
provisions of this section shall not affect the liability of any person for a
contravention of any provision of this Act.



(3) Any person who destroys damages removes or interferes with a notice
erected pursuant to this section shall be guilty of an offence against
this Act.
