Fines150. Fines If the Court finds a child guilty of an offence, whether indictable or summary, the Court may, with or without conviction, impose a fine- (a) in respect of each offence, not exceeding- (i) 1 penalty unit, if the child is under the age of 15 years or 5 penalty units in any other case; or (ii) the maximum fine which may be imposed on an adult for the same offence- whichever is the lower amount; and (b) in respect of more than one offence, not exceeding an aggregate of 2 penalty units, if the child is under the age of 15 years or 10 penalty units in any other case.
