Process29. Process (1) Process may only be issued out of the Court by a registrar, except where otherwise provided by or under this or any other Act. (2) The principal registrar must, subject to the regulations, keep the original of all process issued out of the Court and must issue or cause to be issued as many copies as are necessary. (3) Process issued by a registrar may be recalled and cancelled by- (a) that registrar; or (b) if issued by a registrar, the registrar for the time being at the venue of the Court at which it was issued; or (c) if that registrar is dead or has ceased to hold office or cannot be located, a magistrate. (4) Service of any process issued out of the Court may be proved in any manner in which service of a summons to answer to a charge may be proved under section 35 of the Magistrates' Court Act 1989.
