Minister to have planning powers

48B. Minister to have planning powers



(1) The Minister has and may exercise in relation to the Games Village land
all of the powers, functions and duties of the Minister under the
Planning and Environment Act 1987.

(2) Division 5 of Part 6 of the Planning and Environment Act 1987 does not
apply to any decision (or failure to make a decision) or matter relating to
the Games Village land.

(3) Nothing in this section is intended to limit or affect the exercise by the
Minister for the time being administering the
Planning and Environment Act 1987 of that Minister's powers, functions and
duties under that Act.

(4) This section applies despite anything to the contrary in the
Planning and Environment Act 1987.
