Appointment of persons to assist the Intellectual Disability Review Panel The Intellectual Disability Review Panel may appoint an Australian legal practitioner (within the meaning of the Legal Profession Act 2004), an interpreter approved by the Department or any other person with appropriate expertise to assist the Intellectual Disability Review Panel in any proceedings before the Intellectual Disability Review Panel.
