Certain persons deemed to be community visitors55. Certain persons deemed to be community visitors (1) Any person who is appointed by the Minister or the Department for the purpose of any investigation in connection with the administration of this Act or the Disability Services Act 1991 is by virtue of that office or appointment deemed to be a community visitor for every region and has and may exercise all the powers conferred on a community visitor by this Act or the Disability Services Act 1991. (2) Sub-section (1) does not require a person deemed to be a community visitor to perform any of the functions or duties of a community visitor.
