Immunity

76. Immunity



(1) A member of the Board or person responsible for keeping the register is
not personally liable for anything done or omitted to be done in good faith
and without negligence-

   (a)  in the exercise of a power or the discharge of a duty under this Act;
        or

   (b)  in the reasonable belief that the act or omission was in the exercise
        of a power or the discharge of a duty under this Act.

(2) Any liability resulting from an act or omission that would but for
sub-section (1), attach to a member of the Board or the person responsible for
keeping the register, attaches instead to the Board.
