Identity cards

27. Identity cards



(1) The Department Head must issue an identity card to each authorised officer
containing a photograph of the officer.

(2) An authorised officer must produce his or her identity card for
inspection-

   (a)  before exercising a power under this Part other than a requirement
        made by post; and

   (b)  at any time during the exercise of a power under this Part if asked to
        do so.

Penalty: 10 penalty units.
