Extension of operation

3. Extension of operation

The operation of the Education Regulations 1988 is extended for the period
beginning on the day on which they would otherwise be revoked by virtue of
section 5 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994 and ending on 30 June 2000.

(Education Regulations 1988 - Extension of Operation) Regulations 1999, S.R.
No. 82/1999 were made on 29 June 1999 by the Governor in Council, on the
certificate and recommendation of the Minister for Education, under sections 5
and 28 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994, No. 104/1994 and came into
operation on 29 June 1999. The Subordinate Legislation (Education Regulations
1988 - Extension of Operation) Regulations 1999 will sunset 10 years after the
day of making on 29 June 2009 (see section 5 of the
Subordinate Legislation Act 1994). 2. Table of Amendments There are no
amendments made to the Subordinate Legislation (Education Regulations 1988 -
Extension of Operation) Regulations 1999 by statutory rules, subordinate
instruments and Acts. 3. Explanatory Details
