A Bill for
An Act to amend the following to extend the operation of provisions
relating to the COVID-19 pandemic --
The Criminal Code;
the Criminal Code Amendment (COVID-19 Response) Act 2020;
the Emergency Management Amendment (COVID-19 Response)
Act 2020.
The Parliament of Western Australia enacts as follows:

1 Part 1 -- Preliminary
2 1. Short title
3 This is the COVID-19 Response Legislation Amendment
4 (Extension of Expiring Provisions) Act 2020.
5 2. Commencement
6 This Act comes into operation as follows --
7 (a) Part 1 -- on the day on which this Act receives the
8 Royal Assent;
9 (b) the rest of the Act -- on the day after that day.
