Reserve 30897 amended 2 249--2 page i Western Australia LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY (As amended during consideration in detail) Reserves (Wanjarri Nature Reserve) Bill 2011 A Bill for An Act to excise an area from Reserve 30897 and for related purposes. The Parliament of Western Australia enacts as follows: page 1 Reserves (Wanjarri Nature Reserve) Bill 2011 s. 1 1 1. Short title 2 This is the Reserves (Wanjarri Nature Reserve) Act 2011. 3 2. Commencement 4 This Act comes into operation as follows -- 5 (a) sections 1 and 2 -- on the day on which this Act 6 receives the Royal Assent; 7 (b) the rest of the Act -- on the day after that day. 8 3. Reserve 30897 amended 9 (1) In this section -- 10 affected reserve means Reserve 30897, being Lot 122 on 11 Deposited Plan 220708 and being the whole of the land in 12 Certificate of Crown Land Title Volume LR3116 Folio 796, that 13 is classified under the Land Administration Act 1997 as a 14 class A reserve; 15 excision area means the area of about 758 hectares identified as 16 the Excision Area on Deposited Plan 72976; 17 Registrar means the Registrar of Titles referred to in the 18 Transfer of Land Act 1893 section 7. 19 (2) The affected reserve is amended by excising the excision area. 20 (3) Immediately after the excision area is excised from the affected 21 reserve -- 22 (a) the area ceases to be classified as a class A reserve; and 23 (b) the area becomes reserved to the Crown for the purpose 24 of mining; and 25 (c) the care, control and management of the reserve created 26 by paragraph (b) is placed with the corporation sole 27 established by the Mining Act 1978 section 10(2), 28 for the purposes of the Land Administration Act 1997 Part 4. page 2 Reserves (Wanjarri Nature Reserve) Bill 2011 s. 3 1 (4) The Registrar is to take such measures as are necessary to 2 register in the Register, as defined in the Transfer of Land 3 Act 1893 section 4(1) -- 4 (a) the amendment effected by subsection (2); and 5 (b) the effects of subsection (3), 6 and for those purposes those subsections may be treated as if 7 they were orders made by the Minister under the Land 8 Administration Act 1997 Part 4.
