BAIL ACT 1982 - SECT 34

34 .         When bail undertaking ceases to have effect

                A bail undertaking ceases to have effect —

            (a)         upon the revocation of bail under section 55;

            (b)         upon the death of the accused, but only if no order has been made under section 57;

            (c)         subject to section 31, upon the appearance in court by the accused as required by his bail undertaking;

            (d)         upon the discharge of the accused according to law from any further proceedings for the offence, or all of the offences, to which the bail undertaking relates;

            (e)         during any period before the time at which the accused is required to appear in court when he is in custody for any other offence or reason.
