of efficiency, the Minister may by notice published in the Gazette declare
that an approved area within the district of the local government shall, as
from a date to be specified in the notice, cease to be an approved area for
the purposes of this Act and accordingly the provisions of section 53 as from
the specified date cease to apply to a crop situate within the area except in
so far as regards a crop on which insurance has been effected prior to the
specified date.
