(1) A secondary office
holder is an office holder of a participating jurisdiction who holds office
(whether under an appointment or otherwise) because the office holder is an
office holder of one of the other participating jurisdictions.
(2) A secondary office
is an office held under the law of a participating jurisdiction by a secondary
office holder.
Examples for this section:
1. SA and NT police
officers who are appointed as WA police officers under the Police Act 1892
will be secondary office holders of WA.
2. SA and NT community
corrections officers will be taken to be WA community corrections officers
under the Sentence Administration Act 2003 section 98AA as modified by the
regulations and will therefore be secondary office holders of WA.
