President of the Legislative Council shall be at least equal to the salary of
the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly; and the salaries and allowances of
the various officers of the Legislative Council shall be the same as those of
the corresponding officers of the Legislative Assembly; and the chief Clerk
for the time being of the Legislative Council and of the Legislative Assembly
shall respectively be removable from office only in accordance with a vote of
the House of which he is an officer.
