Western Australian Current Acts Western Australian Current Acts For the purpose of
constituting the Legislative Council, the Governor, before the time appointed
for the first meeting of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly,
after this Part shall be in operation, may, in Her Majesty’s name, issue
writs under the Public Seal of the Colony for a general election of members to
serve in the Legislative Council.
