CONSTITUTION ACT 1889 - SECT 8

8 .         Resignation of members of Council ⁴

                Any member of the Legislative Council may resign his seat therein by a letter to the Governor, and upon the receipt of such letter by the Governor the seat of such member shall become vacant.
