(1) The Governor may
by order revoke any licence —
(a) if
any of the licensees shall have been convicted of any offence against this Act
and sentenced to imprisonment, or fined $100 or more;
(b) if
the crematorium shall have become unfit for the inoffensive, decent, and
effective cremation of bodies, and a certificate to that effect shall have
been signed by the Chief Health Officer;
(c) if
the licensees have lost the right to occupy the site of the crematorium,
and thereupon the
licence shall become null and void.
(2) No order revoking
any licence on the ground mentioned in subsection (1)(a) or (b) shall be made
more than 3 months after the date of the conviction or of the Chief Health
Officer’s certificate, as the case may be.
