Where the Commissioner
has delegated a function or power to a person under section 10 —
(a) the
Commissioner may give directions to the delegate with respect to the
performance of that function or the exercise of that power; and
(b) if
the delegate has, under section 10(4), authorised another person to perform
that function or exercise that power, the delegate —
(i)
shall, if the Commissioner has given a direction to the
delegate under paragraph (a) with respect to the performance of that function
or the exercise of that power, give a corresponding direction to the other
person; and
(ii)
may, subject to any direction given to the delegate by
the Commissioner under paragraph (a), give directions to the other person with
respect to the performance of that function or the exercise of that power.
