(1) A person who gives
to a member of a co-operative or to a person intending or applying to become a
member of a co-operative a copy of any rules or any alterations of rules,
other than those which have been duly registered, representing that they are
binding on the members of the co-operative is guilty of an offence.
Penalty for this subsection: a fine of $1 000.
(2) A person who
alters any of the rules of a co-operative after they have been registered and
circulates them representing that they have been duly registered when they
have not been is guilty of an offence.
Penalty for this subsection: a fine of $1 000.
