CO-OPERATIVES ACT 2009 - SECT 165

165 .         Cancellation of shares

        (1)         A co-operative must cancel any share purchased by or forfeited to the co-operative in accordance with this Act or the rules of the co-operative.

        (2)         Any shares held by a co-operative in itself at the time the co-operative is registered under this Act are cancelled under this section.
