(1) A co-operative
must ensure that, if financial records are kept in electronic form, they are
to be convertible into hard copy.
Penalty for this subsection: a fine of $2 500.
(2) If financial
records are kept in electronic form, the co-operative must ensure that a hard
copy is made available within a reasonable time to a person who is entitled to
inspect the records.
Penalty for this subsection: a fine of $2 500.
(3) Despite The
Criminal Code section 23B(2), it is immaterial for the purposes of subsections
(1) and (2) that any event occurred by accident.
