(1) If the Registrar
appoints an administrator to conduct a co-operative’s affairs, a person
cannot begin or continue proceedings in a court against the co-operative until
the administrator’s appointment is revoked except with the leave of the
Supreme Court and, if the Supreme Court grants leave, in accordance with any
terms that the Supreme Court imposes.
(2) A person intending
to apply for leave of the Supreme Court under subsection (1) must give the
Registrar at least 10 days notice of intention to apply.
(3) On the hearing of
an application under subsection (1), the Registrar may be represented and may
oppose the application.
