(1) The parties may
appear or act in person, or may be represented by another person of their
choice, in any oral hearings under section 24.
(2) A person who is
not admitted to practise as a legal practitioner in Western Australia does not
commit an offence under or breach the provisions of the Legal Profession
Uniform Law (WA) or any other Act merely by representing a party in arbitral
proceedings in this State.

There is no equivalent
of this section in the Model Law.
