An authorised officer
or industrial inspector who enters a place under section 241C may, for an
authorised purpose, do any of the following —
(a)
inspect the place and any thing at the place;
(b)
search the place and any thing at the place;
(c)
measure, test, photograph or film any part of the place or any thing at the
place;
(d) take
any thing, or a sample of or from any thing, at the place for analysis or
testing;
(e)
operate equipment or facilities at the place or direct a person at the place
to do so;
(f) make
a copy of, or take an extract from, any record or document at the place;
(g)
seize any thing that is or may afford evidence of an offence under this Act;
(h)
direct (orally or in writing) the occupier of the place, or a person at the
place, to give the officer or inspector such assistance as the officer or
inspector reasonably requires.
