Western Australian Current Acts Western Australian Current Acts (1) A person is not
eligible to be appointed as, or be, a member of the Commission if the person
—
(a) is
the CEO or an officer of the Department; or
(b)
holds office as a commissioner, the General Manager or a member of the staff
of the Forest Products Commission; or
(c) has
a material personal interest in a production contract or in a company or
business that is a party to a production contract.
(2) A reference in
this section to a person who holds an office includes a reference to a person
who acts in the office.
(3) In subsection
(1)(c) —
production contract has the same meaning as it has
in the Forest Products Act 2000 .
