(1A) In this section
—
examination includes an examination conducted by
the Commission under the Criminal Property Confiscation Act 2000 .
(1) A person who
—
(a)
insults the Commission while the Commission is conducting an examination; or
(b)
deliberately interrupts an examination conducted by the Commission; or
(c) at
an examination conducted by the Commission, contravenes a provision of this
Act relating to the examination; or
(d)
creates or continues or joins in creating or continuing, a disturbance in or
near a place where the Commission is conducting an examination; or
(e) does
anything else at an examination conducted by the Commission or otherwise that
would be contempt of court if the Commission were a judge acting judicially,
is in contempt of the
Commission.
(2) The Commission may
order that a person who under subsection (1) is in contempt of the Commission
at an examination be excluded from the place where the examination is being
conducted.
(3) An officer of the
Commission, acting under the Commission’s order, may, using necessary
and reasonable help and force, exclude the person from the place.
