(1) The duty of a
person to make a notification under section 28 must be complied with despite
—
(a) the
provisions of any other Act, whether enacted before or after this Act; or
(b) any
obligation the person has to maintain confidentiality about a matter to which
the allegation relates,
and the person does
not commit an offence by reason of that compliance.
(2) Subsection (1)
does not affect an obligation under another written law to notify misconduct.
