Western Australian Current Acts Western Australian Current Acts (1) The Commissioner,
on the Commissioner’s own initiative or at the request of the Minister,
may conduct a special inquiry into a matter affecting the wellbeing of
children and young people.
(2) Before conducting
a special inquiry the Commissioner must inform the Minister in writing of his
or her intention to do so.
